Banco Millennium Atlântico announces that the Board of Directors has proceeded, after approval by Banco Nacional de Angola, to the cooptation of the following new members of the said body:

- Madalena Adriano D. de Lemos Neto (Independent Board Member);

- Vanessa F. de Oliveira Mendonça (Independent Board Member);

- Ana Catarina Nunes de Souza e Sá (Executive Director), a staff member of ATLANTICO, who until then had been the Head of the Risk Office.

The inclusion of two new independent non-executive Directors aims to comply with the provisions of Article 11.2 of Banco Nacional de Angola's Notice no. 01/2022, the new Corporate Governance Code for Banking Financial Institutions.

In addition to these appointments, the termination of Paulo Cartaxo Tomás' role as executive Board Member and his promotion to non-executive Board Member was approved.

At the same meeting, the cessation of functions of three non-executive Members of the Board was also approved, who, due to accumulating other professional duties and responsibilities, resigned from their positions, namely Miguel Maya Dias Pinheiro, Diogo Baptista Russo Pereira da Cunha and Hermenegilda de Fátima Agostinho Lopes Benge.
